Jessica Allyn, AGNP-C, joined Carolina Integrative Wellness in July 2026, bringing more than two decades of clinical experience caring for patients across both critical care and primary care settings. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Jessica spent over 11 years as a Registered Nurse in a Level I Trauma Intensive Care Unit, where she cared for some of the most medically complex and critically ill patients. She has since spent the past 10 years as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, earning a reputation for thoughtful clinical judgment, compassionate care, and a commitment to treating every patient as an individual.

Throughout her career, Jessica has developed a special interest in hormone optimization, thyroid disorders, metabolic health, and sustainable weight management. She is known for taking the time to truly listen, asking the questions that others often overlook, and partnering with patients to develop realistic, personalized treatment plans that address both symptoms and their underlying causes.

Jessica joined Carolina Integrative Wellness because she wanted to practice medicine in a setting that aligns with her philosophy of care. Passionate about continually expanding her knowledge, she is deepening her expertise in functional and integrative medicine, combining the strong foundation of evidence-based primary care with a comprehensive, root-cause approach. She believes the best outcomes come from understanding the interconnectedness of the body’s systems and empowering patients with the knowledge and tools to achieve lasting health.

Patients appreciate Jessica’s calm, approachable nature, her attention to detail, and her genuine investment in helping them feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their health journey.

Outside of the clinic, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and son, exploring a wide range of creative projects and arts and crafts, and caring for the home and landscape she has lovingly built over the years. An avid animal lover, she shares her home with three dogs and a beautiful koi pond she designed and maintains herself. Whether she’s working on landscaping, tackling a home-improvement project, or enjoying time outdoors, Jessica finds inspiration and balance in nature.
